GOVERNOR LINGLE ORDERS STATE FLAGS TO FLY AT HALF-STAFF ON PEARL HARBOR REMEMBRANCE DAY, DECEMBER 7

For Immediate Release:  November 30, 2006

HONOLULU – Governor Linda Lingle has proclaimed Thursday, Dec. 7 as “Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day” in Hawai`i, and has ordered the Hawai`i State flag to be displayed at half-staff in conjunction with the United States flag from sunrise to sunset.  A copy of the Governor’s proclamation is attached.
