Tennessee
Valley Corridor Federal Alliance
Several key
Federal research-directed organizations exist within the Tennessee
Valley Corridor. These include:
- The NASA
Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama;
- The Arnold
Engineering Development Center in Tullahoma, Tennessee; and
- The Department
of Energy facilities in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
These organizations
have formed a Tri-Lateral Alliance to enhance economic development
of the Tennessee Valley, from Virginia, down through Tennessee,
and into the heart of Alabama. The tri-lateral alliance encourages
collaborations between the existing Federal organizations in
the Tennessee Valley and private-sector organizations.
