  • Aerospace Supplier Development Mission to China, October 26- November 4, 2008.  The Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration (ITA) Aerospace & Defense Technologies Team and the U.S. Commercial Service China Transportation Team (CS China) will explore supplier opportunities in China and attend the Zhuhai Airshow.

Local and Domestic Events

  • Expand Your International Sales Seminar, October 1, 2008.  In cooperation with the Henderson Chamber of Commerce, the US Commercial Service is giving an educational seminar on exporting and doing international business. 
  • Automated Export System, AES. Las VegasDate TBD!  Time to update your shipping and logistics team on electronic filing of export documents, proper product classification and new export regulations.  Get hands on experience using the AES PCLink system.  This will be the only US Census program on AES for the entire western U.S. for the foreseeable future!

Industry Trade Shows in Las Vegas

Every year Las Vegas plays host to hundreds of industry trade shows, conferences and meetings. Each year, the US Department of Commerce certifies specific domestic trade shows that have the likelihood of attracting a significant international buying audience under the “International Buyers Program”. Foreign buying delegations are led to town by our foreign-based US Commercial Service posts. How can you take advantage of this unique resource? Set up private meetings with our Foreign Commercial Service staffs via our “Show Time” program. Offer to host a country buying delegation for off-site technical or educational tours of your facilities or operations.
