MDA Environmental Mission:
As a Federal agency, the MDA is required by the National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) to consider the environmental impact on the surrounding communities and their environs, through analysis contained in environmental-related documents of Program mission. The MDA makes it possible for the public to understand and to be informed of MDA's mission activities by publishing NEPA-compliance reports, such as Environmental Assessments (EAs), Environmental Impact Statements (EIs), and other pertinent documents.
