 Albuquerque Rape Crisis
The Albuquerque Rape Crisis Center provides emotional support and advocacy to survivors of sexual assault and abuse within the greater Albuquerque area, and serves as a community resource on issues regarding prevention and awareness of sexual assault and abuse. www.rape-crisis.org
 
Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANE):
The Albuquerque SANE Collaborative is a non-profit agency that provides medical treatment for sexual assault survivors. Our care of specially trained nurses are on-call to respond to immediate sexual assault cases. SANE nurses provide sensitive and objective medical care and collect forensic evidence from the sexual assault survivor.
 
Resources, Inc.
Resources Inc. provides advocacy services for victims of domestic violence and is available 24 hours a day.

Child Protective Services
As part of the State of New Mexico's Children, Youth and Families Department, Child Protective Services works with child advocacy agencies and law enforcement to investigate reports of child abuse.  www.cyfd.org
 
Crime Victims Reparations
The New Mexico Crime Victims Reparation Commission was formed in 1981 under the Crime Victims Reparation Act to assist victims of violent crime with expenses incurred as a result of their victimization. www.cvrc.state.nm.us
 
Asian Family Center
The New Mexico Asian Family Center provides assistance to Asians and their families cope with issues such as family conflict, immigration rights, cultural adaptation and parenting issues.  www.nmasianfamilycenter.org.
 
New Mexico Legal Aid 
New Mexico Legal Aid is a nonprofit law office providing free legal representation to the poor throughout New Mexico in civil cases to increase access to the justice system for vulnerable populations and preserve basic legal rights including safety, financial stability and shelter.  www.nmlegalaid.org
 
2nd Judicial Court Domestic Violence Division   (505) 924-6000
The Domestic Violence Division serves persons seeking to petition the Court for a Protection Order who are victims of actual or threatened abuse by a family or household member. This process can take up to two hours to complete.  http://www.nmcourts.com/seconddistrictcourt
 
Crisis Outreach and Support Team
COAST is a unit of the Albuquerque Police Department that provides outreach and support for those in crisis including the chronically homeless and those with mental illness.
