Raises $24 million in calendar year 2000 and the revenue stream is expected to grow at 3% per year for the life of the imposition.

10 YEAR IMPOSITION
Effective: January 1, 2000
Sunset: December 31, 2009

COST TO THE AVERAGE ALBUQUERQUE FAMILY = $65 PER YEAR
or, one cent for every $4 spent on taxable goods and services purchased in Albuquerque by Albuquerque residents or visiting shoppers.
