About the IRM College
The Information Resources Management (IRM) College is a global learning community for government’s most promising information leaders. Both in the corporate world and throughout the government community, information remains a highly valuable asset. Information resource management for today’s society requires talented, informed, and effective leaders who will overcome economic and political pressures, adjust with the changes of national security, and leverage enterprise information technologies.

The IRM College delivers the tools that enable these leaders to be responsive to the issues and challenges within their key areas of responsibility. The IRM College, the largest college of the National Defense University (NDU), is located at Fort Lesley J. McNair, Washington, DC. NDU, the premier center for joint professional military education, is under the direction of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

As a trusted voice in the information resource management community, the IRM College is recognized for its excellent graduate-level programs, faculty, and services that provide a strategic advantage for today’s military and civilian leaders in the Department of Defense and across government. The students are middle and senior level managers with IRM responsibilities who plan information operations within their organizations, perform systems integration functions, and/or protect elements of the defense information infrastructure.
