Projects & Plans - Schedule of Proposed Actions (SOPA)

The Schedule of Proposed Actions is a quarterly report informing people of environmental analyses soon to be initiated, currently in progress or recently completed on the Inyo National Forest pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The NEPA documentation, Categorical Exclusion (CE), Environmental Assessment (EA) or Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) required for a particular action may change based on public input or other factors. The decision date shown for each project indicates the expected completion date for the environmental documentation, not the date for the completion of the project itself. Estimated dates are given to provide the reader with a sense of how long the public involvement period is expected to last.
