Web Content Design and Evaluation

Next

This Web Content Design and Evaluation course was designed to assist Web content creators in developing more relevant and effective Web sites for their stakeholders and the general public. In many organizations involved in coastal management, marine resources, and environmental research, Web content development and Web design is a task involving many individuals, many of whom have no formal training other than on a particular Web design tool.

Creating effective Web sites and the content to fill them entails more than just knowing how to write HTML or use JavaScripting. It requires more than creating Web pages that outline your organization’s purpose, goals, objectives, and major projects. In fact, one needs to have knowledge in a broad range of topics, from an understanding of how the Web and web users interact to a detailed perspective on what members of your target audiences expect to gain from your site.
