2. Standard Multi-Buyer Policy

Exporters who utilize this policy insure all credit sales for any goods produced in and shipped from the U.S. during the policy period.

Features

• Covers short-term sales made by an exporter during a 12-month period; policy requires all or a reasonable spread of export credit sales to be insured.
• Supports repayment terms up to 180 days; sales on terms up to 360 days can be covered for capital goods, consumer durables, bulk agricultural commodities and fertilizer.
• Risk Coverage: Provides 95% commercial and political risk coverage against buyer payment defaults.
• Permits experienced exporters to insure sales to international customers without Ex-Im Bank' s approval up to certain limits.
• Pay As You Go: premium payments based only on actual shipments; premiums are based on buyer type, credit terms and a buyer's country.
