Laboratories Approved for Analysis Under the UCMR 1

Aeromonas Labs | Perchlorate Labs

All laboratories that reported data under the first cycle of the Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Regulation (UCMR 1) were certified. Laboratories could apply their compliance monitoring certification under 40 CFR 141.28 towards the methods used in UCMR 1 to monitor for the specific contaminants.

However, since laboratories were not certified by any primacy agency to use the approved perchlorate and Aeromonas methods, laboratories wishing to support such monitoring were approved by EPA.

PLEASE NOTE: The UCMR 1 laboratory approval status ended when the first cycle concluded.

Laboratories Approved for UCMR Aeromonas Analysis

Laboratories that passed the EPA-coordinated Aeromonas Performance Testing (PT) study for EPA method 1605, were approved based on criteria identified in the Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Regulation for Public Water Systems; Analytical Methods for List 2 Contaminants.
