The City of Albuquerque's Public Art Program is administered by staff of the City's Capital Implementation Program. Staff is responsible for carrying out the guidelines and City administrative procedures in order to accomplish the recommendations of the Arts Board which are approved by the Mayor. The Sunport Art Program, although it is administered by staff of the City's Aviation Department, shall conform to the Public Art Program Guidelines, standards and procedures for acquisition of art. The Albuquerque Arts Board shall review recommendations regarding the Sunport Art Collection as well as acquisitions of works of art for other city-owned facilities.
