Teachers Using Mars in the Classroom
Solar System Educator David Black's use of Mars Exploration Rover data in his Utah classroom was featured in an Associated Press article about how the the robot geologists inspired teachers and students across the nation.
"I was excited to have an opportunity like this that is normally reserved for people from NASA," Black's student, 17-year-old Isaac Wilson told a reporter. "This project is getting me to think about going to college to get more experience developing software or animation."
