      1. SF 424 (R&R) Application for Federal Assistance

        • Electronic submission - For electronic submissions, use Adobe Reader 8.1.2 or the latest available reader at www.adobe.com  A fillable pdf version of the SF-424 (R&R) is available in the Grant Application Package after you have registered with grants.gov.

        • The SF-424 (R&R) available through grants.gov is for electronic submission only.

          The SF-424 (R&R) must be filled-out through the browser in order to receive the confirmation message that your package was received properly by grants.gov. If you received the “Broken Pipe” message, go to the grants.gov home page and click on the “Broken Pipe” – Adobe Reader Error Message for detailed information. This issue does not affect filling out the NIST-1022 using Adobe Acrobat Reader.

          NOTE:    UPDATED INSTRUCTIONS FOR SF-424 (R&R)

        • Paper Submission - To fill out the SF-424 (R&R) for Paper Submission, follow the steps below.

          1. Go to grants.gov
          2. Under For Applicants click “Find Grant Opportunities” on “Basic Search”
          3. Click inside the “Search by CFDA Number” box and enter 11.613
          4. On the “Search Results” page, click on the Technology Innovation Program
          5. On the “Technology Innovation Program” page, click on “Application”
          6. On the “Selected Grant Applications for Download” page, click on “download”
          7. On the “Download Opportunity Instructions and Application” page, download the Application Instructions and save to your computer
          8. On the “Download Opportunity Instructions and Application” page, click on the “Application Package”
          9. On the “Grant Application Package” page, scroll down to the “Mandatory Documents” box, highlight both the SF424 (R & R) and the Research & Related Other Project Information, click the => to move the forms to the “Mandatory Documents for Submission” box.
          10. In the “Mandatory Documents for Submission” box, highlight the SF424 ($ & R), click “Open Form” and save the form to your computer
          11. Complete the forms, save and print a hard copy for submission.

      2. Research and Related Other Project Information

        • Electronic submission - For electronic submissions, use Adobe Reader 8.1.2 or the latest available reader at www.adobe.com  A fillable pdf version of the Research and Related Other Project Information is available in the Grant Application Package after you have registered with grants.gov.

        • NOTE:    UPDATED INSTRUCTIONS FOR Research and Related Other Project Information

        • Paper Submmission - To fill out the Research and Related Other Project Information for paper submission, see instructions under Paper Submission for the SF-424 (R&R) and follow the same process.


      3. NIST-1022, Technology Innovation Program (TIP) Proposal Information Sheet (Dynamic version for Electronic or Paper Submission)
        • This dynamic version allows for the generation of all the NIST-1022 family of forms as the forms are filled out.

          The NIST-1022 is only available at this website.  The NIST-1022 is a dynamic form set.  All necessary forms will be generated as the forms are filled out.

          TO AVOID DATA LOSS AND EXTRA WORK, USE THESE FORMS FOR FINAL DATA ENTRY, NOT AS WORKSHEETS.
