What
is Culturally Competent HIV Care |
Statement
of Principle
HAB has developed a Statement of Principle outlining its commitment
to the delivery of culturally/linguistically appropriate care, as
follows:
" HAB is committed to ensuring access to quality HIV health
care and related supportive services for persons with HIV/AIDS and
their families. Quality care means access to HIV services, information,
and materials delivered by competent providers in a manner that
factors in the language needs, cultural richness and diversity in
whom we serve. "
