This office is responsible for the Department's current and future real estate needs, while managing DOT's existing 40 million square feet of office and warehouse space across the Nation. In addition to managing the DOT Headquarters building, encompassing 1.7 million square feet, we establish and implement Departmental administrative policy for environment and energy management, motor vehicles, personal property, real property, and occupational safety.
