At Close 12/05/2014: The major stock indexes were up Friday. Although breadth on the NYSE did not favor either advancing stocks or declining stocks, small caps rallied along with large caps. The S.&P. 500 index gained 0.17% to finish at 2,075.37. Among individual stocks, the two top percentage gainers in the S.&P. 500 were Integrys Energy Group Inc. and Lowe's Companies Inc.
