COACHE

UNT’s vision is to be a diverse and inclusive institution creating knowledge and innovations that will shape the future, while cultivating excellence in the next generation of scholars and leaders for the global community. We recognize the role that faculty play in furthering this vision and seek to ensure that all faculty feel included and valued.  As a part of our effort toward continuous improvement, UNT has participated in a number of surveys to assess faculty satisfaction.  One of the instruments that was used was the Collaborative on Academic Careers in Higher Education (COACHE) Faculty Job Satisfaction Survey.  UNT first administered the COACHE survey to tenure track faculty in 2008–2009.  The survey was administered again in 2010–2011 to tenured faculty.  In 2018, UNT made a commitment to include all faculty in the COACHE survey. In 2021, UNT will administer the survey to all faculty.
