Prune, thin, and train fruit trees. Harvest and maintain fruit crops in varied weather conditions using hand and some mechanized tools such as a tractor. Activities require long periods of standing, bending and kneeling in addition to work from a ladder.

Manually plant, cultivate, and harvest vegetables, fruits, nuts and field crops. Use hand tools, such as shovels, trowels, hoes, shears, and knives. Duties including tilling, applying fertilizers, transplanting cuttings, and other crop activities.

Duties include greenhouse care, setting, topping, oiling, cutting, housing and stripping of tobacco and assist in curing process. Work includes general farm maintenance directly related to crop activities.

Landscape or maintain grounds using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of sod laying, mowing, planting, watering, and installation of irrigation systems.

Process crab, finfish, groundfish and salmon, shrimp, oysters, and other seafood species.  Wash, size and grade the seafood and load the processed seafood onto freezer baskets or into cartons for shipping.

Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments.
