Additional Information: This SEIS is being prepared in response to a District Court order remand of previous NEPA completed. The proposed action is to complete the construction of this municipal, rural and industrial water supply project which began in 2002 and then was challenged by the Province of Manitoba, Canada in the U.S. District Court. The communities and rural water systems within northwestern North Dakota face water quality and/or quantity concerns. The alternatives are being evaluated which would provide a reliable, high quality water supply for this area of North Dakota. | |||||
