FSIS monitors recalls of meat and poultry products produced by Federally inspected establishments. This page has information about those recalls that are still in progress as well as any public health alerts issued by FSIS.
Recall Case Archive
The archive contains press releases and notification reports issued by FSIS in conjunction with recalls of meat and poultry products from 1996 to the present. The quantity of product recovered is also available (for recalls since September 2005).

FSIS Foodborne Outbreak Investigations
FSIS investigates outbreaks of foodborne illness in collaboration with public health partners, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), and state and local health and agriculture departments.
