The ICNSP, the International Conference on Numerical Simulation of Plasmas, brings together the leading researchers in the field of computational plasma physics to discuss advanced models, methods and algorithms to solve higher dimensional, complex nonlinear problems.

Machine learning (ML) in its current form is relatively new to geoscience. In the past, ML was applied to a number of geoscience problems but the number of applications before about 2010 was modest.
