Is PBGC making pension payments on time?
Yes. PBGC is making payments to participants on time, via direct deposit or mailed checks.
Paper checks are delivered by the United States Postal Service. Please visit the United States Postal Service for their latest statements about COVID-19.
How do I sign up for MyPBA?

What online services are available from PBGC?
MyPBA is PBGC’s secure online service that participants use to:
- Request electronic direct deposit or update banking information
- View or print IRS Form 1099-R
- Obtain a letter to verify the amount of money you receive from PBGC
- View payment history and check images
- Update federal tax withholding
- Request a benefit estimate and apply for benefits (future payees only)

I received a PBGC determination regarding entitlement to a benefit, with a 45-day right to appeal. The deadline to file an appeal is on or after April 1, 2020, and before July 15, 2020. Has the deadline been postponed?
Yes. If the 45-day period to file an appeal ends on or after April 1, 2020, and before July 15, 2020, the deadline to file an appeal (in addition to the deadline to request an extension of time to file an appeal) is postponed to July 15, 2020.
