The UNT System has completed upgrading the PeopleAdmin System used to post jobs and screen job candidates. The first two modules in the upgrade, Position Management (for classification and position descriptions) and Applicant Tracking, are now functional.
Chris McCoy, Vice Chancellor for Finance & Administration at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, has been named Chief Information Officer for the University of North Texas System and its flagship University of North Texas. McCoy, who has 30+ years of information technology experience in higher education, starts his new role on October 28 and will be based in Denton.
The ITSS Enterprise System team has officially begun the infrastructure hardware refresh.This consists of 3 major projects: migrating to the new hyper converged infrastructure for the virtual environment; updating the hardware within the file storage service; and updating the hardware in the data protection environment.
