Requests for Proposals

UNT International is pleased to announce the Requests for Proposals (RFPs) are now open for the following intramural global grants: China Venture Fund, India Venture Fund, and Global Engagement Grant.  

 

La Colectiva

Originally a network for Latina faculty, La Colectiva now includes women faculty of color. Its purpose is to support women holistically emphasizing tenure and promotion, research, and teaching. A central part of La Colectiva involves collective mentoring that draws on the experiences and wisdom of women of color scholars.

International Faculty Network

The International Faculty Network at UNT is a large and growing group of culturally diverse staff and faculty within our university.  The International Faculty Network meets monthly around themes that allow members to share obstacles and solutions. Check out their Facebook page for information on upcoming luncheons. 

UNT Faculty Writing Group

The UNT Faculty Writing Group helps faculty learn and maintain writing practices that benefit their writing projects. Bimonthly all day writing retreats are offered to help faculty work on any of their research projects (i.e. journal articles, review, chapters, books, proposals, etc.). Periodic seminars and discussions on best writing practices are offered throughout the year by faculty within the group.

CSE Professor Saraju Mohanty Receives IEEE Distinguished Leadership Award

CSE Professor Saraju Mohanty has recently received a prestigious award from IEEE. IEEE-CS-TCVLSI Distinguished Leadership 2018 Award for services to the IEEE, and to the VLSI research community was conferred to Prof. Mohanty at IEEE-CS Symposium on VLSI (ISVLSI 2018), the flagship VLSI conference of IEEE-CS, held in Hong Kong in July 2018.

Goodbye Blackboard, Hello Canvas!

Say goodbye to Blackboard Learn!  UNT will no longer offer courses in Blackboard Learn after the Fall 2018 semester.  All Spring courses using an LMS must be migrated to Canvas prior to the Spring 2019 semester start.  If you have not already migrated your courses or submitted migration requests, please do so here.  If you need Canvas training, you can sign up for a face-to-face or online self-paced training here.
