IRVING, Texas – Six members of North Texas’ swimming and diving team earned third-team all conference honors, the conference office announced Friday.

North Texas finished fourth at the Conference USA Championship, matching its highest finish since joining the conference.

Junior Claudia Kitching was named third-team in the 200-yard breaststroke after her bronze medal finish at last week’s C-USA Championship.

Fellow junior Sarah Vaisse garnered third-team honors with her record-setting swim of 2:00.01 in the 200-yard individual medley last week. She finished third in the event.

Rounding out the all-conference selection was the 400-yard freestyle relay team of Sara Whelan, Jowita Sienczyk, Isabelle Morris and Emmabeth Jensen. The team broke North Texas’ record with a time of 3:21.58.
