ESTO e-Books

Login to E-Books

e-Books is an online project management tool used by the NASA Earth Science Technology Office (ESTO). The e-Books system is key to our ability to develop technologies through competitive solicitation, to evaluate proposals through peer review, to make awards, and to actively manage current investments. Open and timely communication is vital to our efforts. ESTO recognizes that technological progress does not always adhere to planned schedules. Because of that, the e-Books system helps to maintain consistent reporting to keep communication flowing.

Functions
ESTO and its investigators rely on e-Books for a variety of project management functions, including:

  • Submissionand acceptance of required deliverables such as technical reports, review presentation packages, TRL assessments, gap analyses, etc
  • Tracking of technical and financial progress and milestones
  • Scheduling of periodic reviews
  • Automatic notification & alerts for upcoming reviews and due dates

Access
Access to ESTO e-Books is governed by the NASA Account Management System (NAMS) Identity Management & Account Exchange (IdMAX) and is restricted to ESTO technology staff and to Principal Investigators and their Co-Investigators working on ESTO projects. If you do not already have a user ID and password from previous ESTO work, the sign-up process will begin after your Statement of Work or Memorandum of Understanding is signed.

Once you have an ID and password, you will be able to access e-Books from any computer with an Internet connection.
