U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Conservation Career Symposium
The purpose of the Conservation Career Symposium is to prepare college students for careers within the federal government. As a conservation agency, the US Fish and Wildlife Service targets those students studying degrees that relate to our mission-critical occupations, such as Biology, Wildlife Biology, Natural Resource Science, Environmental Science, and other related fields.
Students will participate in mock interviews with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service staff, as well as attend workshops on how to write a federal resume, job search utilizing www.usajobs.gov, and networking lessons. We typically incorporate a site visit to a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service field station, or visit to a partner organization to meet conservation professionals.
