Visitors

The staff at the Uvalde National Fish hatchery are always excited to share and educate the community, but really enjoy working with the youth of our community. Many local schools, day cares, and other groups visit the hatchery annually.

Visitor Center Hours

Monday through Friday - 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Saturday - 9: a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Sunday - Closed
Federal Holidays - Closed

From Del Rio:

• Take Hwy 90 east towards Uvalde, TX.
• Turn right onto FM 481 at the cemetery the hatchery is located two miles ahead.

From San Antonio:

• Take Hwy 90 west towards Uvalde, TX.
• Turn left onto FM 481 at the cemetery, the hatchery is located two miles ahead on the right.
