Species on Station

The Mora National Fish Hatchery currently houses the Gila trout on station. The primary mission of the hatchery is dedicated to the recovery of the threatened Gila trout. Desert and Sonora Sucker, species that coexist with the Gila trout in the wild, are also kept on station to rear fish in as close to a natural setting as possible.
