Regional Restoration

The NOAA Restoration Center restores habitat in 27 coastal states, the Caribbean, and U.S. territories. Restoration Center staff in each region work to implement our programs. Our efforts are broken into regions:

• Alaska Region—the State of Alaska
• Northeast Region—the East Coast from Maine to Virginia
• Southeast Region—southern East Coast and Gulf of Mexico
• Southwest Region—California and Hawai’i
• Northwest Region—Idaho, Oregon, and Washington
• Great Lakes Region—Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York
