NOAA's Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) contributes to the agency's data acquisition and delivery mission by not only supporting the other NOAA line offices' environmental data collection efforts, but also delivering ocean and atmospheric data directly to the public. OMAO acquires meteorological and ocean profile data aboard NOAA's ships, and climate and atmospheric data aboard NOAA's aircraft. These data are delivered to NOAA's National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI), where they are made available to the public. NCEI's website provides searchable ocean data collected by NOAA ships and aircraft. Data from NOAA's Hurricane Hunter aircraft may also be found at: http://www.flightscience.noaa.gov/data.html
