Eagle Watch

The next Dale Hollow Lake Eagle Watch is scheduled Jan. 21 and 28, 2017.  The Eagle Watch activities are held on the third and fourth Saturday of January.  Eagle enthusiasts are transported by open barge in search of wintering bald eagles. The eagle watch tours are free, but advance reservations are required. Advance reservations will be accepted beginning on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016.

Public Lands Day

National Public Lands Day LogoDale Hollow Lake National Public Lands DayNational Public Lands Day Events:  Volunteers are needed to help clean up the shoreline Dale Hollow Lake Sept. 30, 2017.  Show your appreciation for our nation's public lands and Dale Hollow Lake by joining in the annual Fall Lakeshore Cleanup. This event is held the last Saturday of each September.   Registration begins at 8 a.m., and trash bags will be provided. The cleanup is held in cooperation with the Friends of Dale Hollow Lake, Inc.

Kids Fishing Rodeo

Dale Hollow Lake Fishing RodeoKids 15 and under are encouraged to participate in a Fishing Rodeo June 10, 2017 at the Dale Hollow National Fish Hatchery.  The event is always held on the first Saturday after the first Monday in June from 8 am until 12 noon. Fish will be caught and prizes will be given. The event is held on the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency’s Annual Free Fishing Day.  This event is held in cooperation with the Dale Hollow National Fish Hatchery. The location is two miles northeast of Celina, Tenn., on State Rt. 53, below Dale Hollow Dam.
