The Historical Flag Project
The Court has amassed a collection of historical flags pertaining to the United States and Puerto Rico, which is displayed in the lobby of the Clemente Ruiz Nazario United States Courthouse in Hato Rey. Also on display are the flags of the United States and Puerto Rico, and the state flags of Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island, which, along with Puerto Rico, constitute the First Judicial Circuit of the United States.
A narrative description of each flag displayed can be viewed and read by clicking on the name of each flag.
