Truck parking is one of the biggest issues currently facing the trucking industry. The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) released its most recent "Critical Issues in the Trucking Industry" survey in October 2016, and found that truck parking availability ranks as the 4th highest (or depending how one wants to interpret the results, 3rd highest) priority issue within the industry.
