WILDLIFE SECTION LEADER (In-House Only) – CLOSES 1/27/17
The Wildlife Section Leader is expected to manage a wildlife program addressing issues related to wildlife management within the Quinault Indian Reservation and within the Quinault Usual and Accustomed Hunting and Fishing Area. This includes work within the management program of forest lands within the Quinault Indian Reservation. The program shall work with land managers to assure activities are in compliance with applicable Tribal and Federal regulations related to wildlife. Accomplishing this task involves reviewing forest management proposals, evaluating wildlife habitat, and participating in interdisciplinary team utilized for forest management activities within the Quinault Reservation. Must have: Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Biology, environmental science, or closely related field, plus 5 year of experience, specific knowledge of the requirements of the NEPA, and ESA are critical, a Master of Science degree in Wildlife Biology, environmental science or closely related field may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis, Valid state driver’s license. DESIRED: Knowledge of computer applications including Word, Excel, and Access, basic forest management activities, common tree species of the Pacific Northwest, Geographic Information Systems (GIS). DAYCARE LEAD TEACHER (2 Positions) – CLOSES 1/27/17
Provide care and supervision to whatever age group assigned to. Works with the children, parents and other staff to ensure the continuity of care is maintained throughout the day at the center. Duties are performed following clearly defined work procedures and priorities. Must have: documented child development education or work experience or complete the 20 HR. STARS training within 6 months of becoming a lead teacher. Willing to attend classes to ensure at least 10 hours continuing education in early childhood each year. Able to attend yearly food training. Must be at least 18 years of age. High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Washington State Driver’s license. First aid and CPR training including child CPR training as well as AIDS/HIV training or obtain after employment. Food handlers permit or obtain after employment. Must have a TB test immediately after employment. Pass a criminal background check and drug testing upon hiring as well as periodic checks for both. Supervisor: C Spivey

LANGUAGE MEDIA SPECIALIST –CLOSE 1/27/17
The Media Specialist maintains and updates language media projects. They are familiar with current software, tablets and computer systems. The Specialist creates applications for language, directs and coordinates activities of designated projects to ensure that goal or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame. They will also learn the Quinault language and assist staff with training. Must have: Associates in Computer Science or two years’ experience in creating video, audio media projects and software applications, ability to pass a criminal background test, employee initial and random drug tests, and a valid Washington State driver's license. Preferred candidates will possess a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science, be familiar with Audacity/Creative Wave Studio, Animation, video and web-based technology, language documentation databases and software. RSHC ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT III - CLOSE 1/27/17
Senior clerical level classification with a wide variety of responsibilities for providing secretarial and administrative assistance to the Medical Manager/Medical Department, and to carry out assigned administrative projects. Must have HS Diploma/GED. One year of responsible administrative experience preferably within a local Healthcare environment is desirable. Modern office procedures, methods and computer software Microsoft Word, QIN budget and finance process. Supervisor: N Jackson-Underwood

PREVENTION ASSOCIATE – CLOSE 1/27/17
This is a grant funded position and therefor is contingent on grant funding. If for any reason the grant is not secured the position will not be funded. The Prevention Associate will utilize curriculums and materials provided by the QCDP Prevention Division, with a goal of reducing the incident rates of problems related to drug and alcohol use in the Quinault Indian Nation’s youth population. Conducts prescribed activities based on curriculums and materials derived from accepted evidence-based sources (HALO, Healing of the Canoe, etc.) to increase awareness of prevention strategies and to support healthy alternatives. Must have: high school diploma or equivalent, no history of alcohol or other drug misuse for a period of three years before employment and not display evidence of misuse of alcohol or other drugs while employed as Associate. TEMPORARY SHELTER WORKERS - CLOSE 1/27/17
Shelter Workers needed to provide support and connections to the individuals who are staying at the shelter. Assist with routine activities such as laundry and housekeeping. Assist and advocate for appropriate programs or services. Maintain guidelines as established. Respond to emergencies and notify appropriate personnel in a timely fashion. This position will be required to work a varied shift (weekdays or weekends) while residing at the Homeless Shelter in the evenings from 7 PM to 7 AM. HS Diploma/GED preferred, but not required, at least 1 year experience working with housing, vulnerable adults or homeless is preferred. One position will work up to 40 hours/week, the other position will work up to 30 hours/week. Must have: Demonstrate knowledge and experience working with at-risk people with complex needs in a similar working environment. Supervisor: K Rosenmeyer

PART TIME KENNEL ASSISTANT - CLOSE 1/27/17
Position will work 20 hours/week (no benefits). Must be caring and compassionate towards animals, hard worker, and team player. Duties include feeding/walking dogs, cleaning kennels/facility, bathing animals, and report any supply needs or maintenance issues to the supervisor. Will be required to restrain animals when assisting the Animal Control Officer. Position will work weekends and holidays. Must have HS diploma/GED, valid driver’s license, animal control or animal care experience, general office skills, no criminal convictions, and license for use of euthanasia pharmaceuticals may be required. QUEETS FITNESS TRAINER TECH I – Re-advertisement - CLOSE 1/27/17
This is a part time position (32 hours/week) in Queets. Ensures that the fitness centers is a safe, fun and clean environment. Must have: HS Diploma/GED or be able to acquire one within 1 year of employment, Exercise experience or personal trainer certification preferred, Must possess a current Washington State Driver’s license and first aid/CPR certification or able to obtain one within 90 days of hire .Able to attain NETA certification within 6 months employment or within 6 months of receiving GED. QUEETS ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – CLOSES 2/03/17
This is a senior level classification with a wide variety of responsibilities for providing administrative support and clerical assistance to a department director or division manager. Provides Para-professional administrative and staff assistance by reviewing, controlling, prioritizing and coordinating the work of departmental/divisional professional staff; or performs technical work which is directly delegated from and in support of the director/manager and department/division program(s). Administrative Assistant duties require special judgement, skills, training and/or experience. Must Have: High school education or the equivalent. Additional business courses in office practices desirable. Valid Washington State Driver's License. Supervisor J Gonzales

SEASONAL FISHERIES TECHS IN QUEETS – CLOSE 02/21/17
Fisheries needs up to 25 seasonal workers in Queets from March through July 2016. First hiring wave will be 02/21/16. Applications are accepted throughout the season to create a roster. Personnel will be activated from this roster as needed. Rate of pay is $11.11 - $13.17 per hour DOQ, up to 40 hours per week. Must be drug free and be willing to submit a UA. Desired qualifications include: enrolled Quinault Tribal member; prior fisheries experience; valid Driver’s License; history of reliability; capable of strenuous activity; willing to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. QUEETS RESIDENT POLICE OFFICER – 2/24/17
Quinault Nation Police Department seeks one (1) Police Officer for the Queets village. This is a law enforcement position and applicants are required to have the minimum qualifications required for all law enforcement positions by the Quinault Indian Nation. This position will provide enforcement patrols of the areas that reside within the Quinault Indian Nation Reservation boundaries and require residency in the village of Queets in provided housing. Duties include: Enforce Law & Order, Community oriented policing, investigations, and arrests. Basic police training and/or previous law enforcement experience desirable. Must have HS Diploma/GED; be at least 21 years old on commissioning; able to pass background check, drug, psychological, and polygraph tests. Must have no prior felony or domestic violence convictions, and no history of substance abuse. Must have valid WA state driver’s license or be eligible to obtain one and have a good driving record, and have completed or be able to complete a certified law enforcement academy within 12 months. Applicant must be in good physical condition, able to patrol by foot and/or vehicle as needed. Benefits include paid holidays, medical, dental, vision, disability, housing and 401K. DENTAL ASSISTANT – Re-advertisement - CLOSES 2/03/17
Assist Dentists in the treatment of patients, perform duties at the request and under the supervision of the dentist and/or Lead Dental Assistant. Must have: HS Diploma or equivalent, 2 years’ experience as a dental assistant preferred, or completion of a vocational course in dental assistance work may be substituted for 1 year of experience. CHRONIC DISEASE PREVENTION MANAGER – Re-advertisement - CLOSES 2/03/17
Incumbent will act as a liaison between the multidisciplinary team, programs, and departments in providing comprehensive services for individuals with diabetes and their families. Manage the diabetes program to assure quality of services and serves as a leader in clinical and or community diabetes programs. Must have: Bachelor’s Degree in health related discipline or be an RD, graduate of an accredited school of nursing, possess a current state registered nurse license in the State of Washington /BSN preferred, certified Diabetes Educator or eligibility prepared in accordance with the American Diabetes Association’s Criteria, current CPR card, and valid WA State driver’s license. COUNSELOR IV – CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY– Re-advertisement - CLOSES 2/03/17
Functions as a contributing CDP with a reduced caseload providing up to 120 hours per month of direct counseling and case management services to patients; consisting of individual, group, family and educational services; including assessment, counseling and aftercare services. Direct counseling shall be reduced in accordance with Chapter 388-877B WAC. Must have: Certified as a chemical dependency professional (CDP) or a person who meets or exceeds the requirements of a certified CDP in the state of Washington, and would be eligible to take the examination required for certification. Has at least four thousand hours of experience in a state approved chemical dependency treatment agency in addition to the supervised experience hours required to become a CDP. Twenty-eight clock hours of recognized supervisory training may be substituted for one thousand hours of experience. Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university; and is qualified as a Chemical Dependency Professional. Meets the qualifications in WAC 246-811-049 Washington State Drivers License. Ability to pass a background check. Supervisor: E Sanchez

CLINICAL QUALITY IMPROVEMENT COORD. – Re-advertisement - CLOSES 2/03/17
The Clinical Quality Improvement Coordinator conducts quality assurance and performance improvement activities to ensure the highest quality and most effective delivery of services and compliance with AAAHC, Roger Saux Health Center (RSHC) Policies and Procedures, patient safety standards. This position provides clinical development and support services, and technical assistance and training to clinicians, managers, staff and boards working for RSHC. The areas of clinical quality, clinical operations and practice management, including quality improvement activities, are targeted with the goal of improving clinical services to reduce health disparities in medical, dental, behavioral health clinics and activities. This position leads the Quality Improvement Committee. The Clinical Quality Improvement Coordinator will assist other RSCH staff as needed with quality improvement issues and projects. Additionally, the QA Coordinator oversees all health professional licensure and credentialing. Must have: Licensed Registered Nurse is preferred. Extensive experience (5 plus years) in a clinical setting with a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Health Services Administration or Public Health, no substitutions) will be considered in lieu of a license. Experience leading quality improvement efforts in a multi-specialty clinical setting, or community health center is preferred. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within medical or the healthcare field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Ability to analyze situations accurately and take effective action. Ability to use computer efficiently and read computer reports and correspondence, including the use of Electronic Health Records (EHR). Ability to communicate in a courteous and professional manner Experience leading and facilitating groups. Valid Washington State driver’s license. Supervisor: N Underwood

SENIOR MANAGER - BEHAVIORAL HEALTH – Re-advertisement - CLOSES 2/03/17
Responsible for the implementation, promotion, administration, and coordination of the Behavioral Health program. Responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, and evaluating activities and functions of the program, including day-to-day budget, policies, procedures, and staff supervision. Must have: Master’s degree in psychology, social services, or allied field; 2 years direct clinical experience, preferably with a Native American population; valid WA State driver’s license; Must be a Washington State Registered Counselor, or be able to obtain such registration within 6 months; may be required to possess applicable certification in Chemical Dependency Counseling or obtain within 6 months. TEMP DIABETES/CHRONIC DISEASE PREVENTION EDUCATOR – Re-advertisement - CLOSES 2/03/17
Will serve as the QIN/RSHC Diabetes/Diabetes Prevention Nurse Educator. Provide case management and counseling to diabetes/ pre-diabetic patients. Ensure that all programmatic activities are carried out in accordance with IHS standards of care, RSHC policies and procedures and documented in patients EHR. Must have: Minimum ADN or BSN in Nursing in Washington State. Experience and knowledge in Public Health, Physical Activity, Nutrition or other relevant health or community education field preferred. At least 5 years of current nursing experience preferred. Must possess a current Washington state driver’s license and Healthcare CPR certification; Current RN Professional license in Washington State. Supervisor: N Underwood
