NRCS has a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with several professional conservation organizations as a benefit to their members and to NRCS to expand the efforts of providing services to clients. Interested members of these organizations are offered opportunities to attend training hosted at the organizations annual or regional meetings or conferences. Trainings provide required training in a classroom setting and review of the plan development criteria for a CAP or practice standards for practices covered in the MOU. Not every certified member is certified as a TSP for NRCS; only TSPs who appear on the TechReg public site are certified as a TSP. The TechReg public site is accessible from the TSP home page.
