Historic Preservation Review Commission
The Historic Preservation Review Commission (HPRC) is comprised of nine community members having a demonstrated interest, competence, or knowledge in historic preservation. Commissioners are appointed by the Board of Supervisors for a four-year term.
The commission’s duties include providing technical expertise to county staff concerning historic preservation issues, review of development projects affecting historic properties or districts, county-owned properties, and nominations of historic structures or features to local, state, and national registers.
