Behavioral Health Advisory Committee
California Welfare and Institutions Code Section 5604 mandates that each community mental health service agency have a mental health board to perform the following tasks:
- Review contracts for Behavioral Health services;
- Monitor changes in the delivery of Behavioral Health Services;
- Review data and make recommendations;
- Encourage community involvement;
- Maintain collaboration with community organizations; and
- Report to the Board of Supervisors.
The Tuolumne County Behavioral Health Advisory Board meets the first Wednesday of every month at 4 p.m. in the Tuolumne County Behavioral Health conference room.
The Behavioral Health Department also hosts Community Committee meetings each month, which are open to the public. Please call the Administration office at (209) 533-6245 for more information.
