Hardware-in-the-Loop at Megawatt-Scale Power

Hardware-in-the-loop simulation is not new, but the Energy System Integration Facility's megawatt-scale power takes this research to another level. It allows researchers and manufacturers to conduct integration tests at full power and actual load levels in real-time simulations to evaluate component and system performance before going to market.

For more information, read the power hardware-in-the-loop factsheet.
