Aviation

The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service maintains a fleet of specialized aircraft and employs pilots who help conserve wildlife on 150 million acres of land and water across the United States. Our work supports natural resources management, law enforcement and fire management operations on more than 560 national wildlife refuges and other Service lands. In keeping with U.S. and international laws, treaties and agreements, we track, survey and photograph wildlife, including migratory birds along flyways from Canada to Mexico.
