West Coast Region Education & Outreach

NOAA envisions healthy ecosystems, communities, and economies that are resilient in the face of change. To support this vision, our education and outreach team develops hands-on lesson plans, citizen science programs, and outreach events based on NOAA’s cutting-edge research that are designed to bolster literacy in ocean, coastal, and climate sciences. We aim to provide timely, science-based content to educators that inspires students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and other disciplines critical to stewardship.
