Information Security Awareness Training

Information Security offers online security awareness training for faculty and staff of all UNT System components. The security awareness course covers the basics of information security, as well as current trends, best practices, and important policies regarding computing usage throughout the UNT System. Employees should complete security awareness training annually.

Information Owners Training

Information owners are typically department heads with operational or executive authority over specified information or information resources. It is the Information Owner’s role to convey that security is everyone’s job and to ensure security strategies are in place at all times.
