The men and women of the 176th Wing are led by their wing commander and vice wing commander.

Under them, the wing is organized into four groups: The 176th Maintenance Group, the 176th Medical Group, the 176th Mission Support Group and the 176th Operations Group.

The wing also includes the 11th Rescue Coordination Center, located on Elmendorf Air Force Base, and a group of Wing Staff sections that report directly to the wing commander.

tab11th Rescue Coordination Center 
Out of their high-tech facility on Elmendorf AFB, the men and women of the 11th Rescue Coordination Center monitor Alaska around the clock. They coordinate the life-saving work of not only the wing's rescue units, but also those of the Alaska State Troopers, the U.S. Coast Guard and the National Park Service, among others.
