MOVING INFANTRY TARGET (MIT)
The Moving Infantry Target is comprised of a single target-lifter mounted to a wireless remote controlled, self-powered mover. When the target board is hit by a round, the hit sensor will register the impact and the MIT will react as prescribed in the preset control system. Different commands, modes and speeds can be selected and transferred to the MIT, either manually from the controller or as commanded in an advanced scenario. This creates an almost endless number of possible MIT training alternatives.

The MIT can be configured as a fixed installation or deployable unit to enable training in urban environments, as well as on traditional firing ranges. A wide variety of accessories are available for the lifter, such as thermal signatures, armor protection, and an easy-to-use control system.

STATIONARY INFANTRY TARGET (SIT)
The Stationary Infantry Target Mechanism is a multi-purpose target mechanism designed to expose and conceal a human size target to an individual or unit conducting live fire. The target holder has an integrated hit sensor. When the target board is hit by a round, the hit sensor will register the impact and the SIT will react as prescribed in the preset control system.

The target is ruggedized and provides high reliability in every kind of environment, from arctic winter to tropical heat. It also features easy installation, simple maintenance and long life.

PORTABLE INFANTRY TARGET SYSTEM (PITS)
PITS are stand alone, radio controlled, 12 VDC battery powered, portable infantry target lifter used on portable and static ranges. The PITS can raise and lower single silhouette targets in less than 1 second. The PITS is controlled by ATA's Hand Held Controller or the Range Control Computer System and can be operated in the manual and pre-programmed modes. PITS must be used in conjunction with hardened steel protective shields

HIGHLIGHTS OF PITS:

  • Raise and lower on command
  • Drop when hit
  • Drop when hit, then raise automatically
  • Cycle through raised and lowered positions

LARUE STEEL TARGETS:

  • 25 portable targets available
  • Primarily used for Sniper Training
  • Battery powered and will cycle through approximately 1,800 down and up cycles before requiring a recharge
  • After being hit, the target returns to the upright position and automatically shuts off until the silhouette is again hit and knocked down
Battlefield Effects Simulators

BADGER AK-47 SIMULATOR:
The BADGER is a remotely operated simulation of an AK-47 assault rifle. It uses ignited oxygen and propane to simulate the flash, noise, and percussive effects of the AK-47. Accurate sound pressure and volume.  Accurate rate of fire – 600 rounds per minute. Unit fires in bursts and single rounds. Realistic flash and concussive effects. Operates on Propane, Oxygen and 12V Battery . Range of remote is line of sight 500 yards.

FIREFLY SOUND EFFECTS BES:
The FireFly  realistically creates the acoustical impression of a battlefield. The SES is designed to play pre-recorded sound files of more than 100 different sounds for more than one hour. Sound files can be stored and/or modified utilizing a standard computer equipped with a Compact Flash Card (CFC).

SOUND EFFECTS SIMULATORS (SES):
The SES records and plays up to 254 sounds using 16-bit 44.1KHZ CD quality audio. Sound track play time of 30 minutes can be remotely triggered via the Range Control Station (RCS) or Hand Held Controller (HHC).

M12 TRIPWIRE BOOBY TRAP:
Looks like a pipe bomb, is detonated by trip wire and requires Powder Explosion Tube, and a 12 gram Co2 cartridge per detonation.

20" IMEESS:
Improvised Munitions Explosive Effect Simulator System. Looks like a 105mm shell and requires Powder, 2 Burst Discs, and 9 oz. Co2 tank per detonation. Requires use of separate detonator (hand held, pressure, trip wire, or remote control) which itself requires a 12 gram Co2 cartridge per detonation and a length of air hose to connect to the IED training device. Can be configured to represent other devices, e.g., Claymore Mine, Mortar, Bomb Fin, 105mm round, and Concussive PET Bottle Adapter.

120mm IMEESS:
Looks like a 120mm shell and requires Powder, 2 Burst Discs, and 9 oz. Co2 tank per detonation. Requires use of separate detonator (hand held, pressure, trip wire, or remote control) which itself requires a 12 gram Co2 cartridge per detonation and a length of air hose to connect to the IED training device. Can be configured to represent other devices, e.g., Claymore Mine, Mortar, Bomb Fin, and 105mm round.

M155FT:
This is a 10 lb. Co2 tank with fill apparatus casing on top of it. Requires Powder and 3 Explosion Tubes per detonation. It also requires use of a Common Interface Device (black box pictured) operated by remote control and a length of comm wire.

5" IMEESS WITH DIRECTIONAL CHARGE HEAD/IMPROVISED CLAYMORE:
I
mprovised Munitions Explosive Effect Simulator System. Looks like a small mortar round and requires Powder, one Burst Disc, and 12 gram Co2 cartridge per detonation. Requires use of separate detonator (hand held, pressure, trip wire, or remote control), which itself requires a 12 gram Co2 cartridge per detonation, and a length of air hose to connect to the IED training device. Can be configured to represent other devices, e.g., Claymore Mine, Mortar, Bomb Fin, 105mm round.

M80 PRESSURE SENSATIVE LANDMINE:
Looks like a small landmine, is detonated by pressure (stepping on it) and requires Powder, Explosion Tube, and a 12 gram Co2 cartridge per detonation.

X-OMG
The largest, loudest, and most powerful explosive simulator. The X-OMG is designed for use in training scenarios involving mounted troop transports, vehicle convoys, and armor.
