Marines attending Basic Water Support Technician course 1-16 (BWST 1-16) aboard Marine Corps Engineer School, Utilities Instruction Company, Courthouse Bay, Camp Lejeune, N.C., participate in a practical application exercise on the Tactical Water Distribution System (TWDS).  TWDSs assist in the distribution of potable water to areas that may not be able to be reached by vehicles or conventional methods of distribution.

This period of instruction covers the basic repairs that can be made to the CBL system at the operational level in the Operating Forces.

Sgt Wennberg, a water support supply technician attached to Marine Corps Engineer School, gives a class on operating and repairing bare base shower facilities to Basic Water Support Technician course 1-16 (BWST 1-16) aboard Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.  This portion of the course covers M-80 water heaters, water supply pumps, drainage pumps and shower schedules.
