Except as specified in our Rules, all complaints and other pleadings before the STB require a filing fee payable at the time the complaint is filed.

We accept payment by credit card, check or money order, made payable to the Surface Transportation Board. Fees are not refundable. The STB does accept E-Filing of certain documents; however, filings that require a fee cannot be E-filed.

A Schedule of Fees is found at Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations per revised Part 1002.2 (a)(3) .
