DHS Annual Performance Report on Executive Agency Actions to Assist Minority Serving Institutions
This Annual Performance Report on Executive Agency Actions to Assist Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) pursuant to Executive Order (EO) 13515, EO 13532, EO 13555 and EO 13592. The purpose of these executive orders is to advance equal opportunity in higher education, strengthen the capacity of MSIs to provide the highest quality education, increase opportunities for these institutions to participate in the benefit from Federal programs and to ensure that our Nation has the highest proportion of college graduates in the world by the Year 2020. For the purpose of this report, MSIs refer specifically to Historical Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs), Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs) and Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institutions (AANAPISIs).
