Use FEMA CORPS to create AUDIO copy of HELP AFTER A DISASTER

THE GUIDE http://www.fema.gov/help-after-disaster is available in at least 21 languages but no audio copy is currently available in CD form or online. Functional illiteracy is to some extent an unacknowledged disability in our recovery efforts. Please read the Table of Contents below, imagine how much valuable information you could be missing if you were functionally illiterate or could not read at all.

Possible Solutions:

Use FEMA CORPS to record an audio version for the FEMA Media Library http://www.fema.gov/medialibrary/media_records/8892 & the Guide site http://www.fema.gov/help-after-disaster plus provide links on other social media sites. (when guide is updated a new audio version would follow)

Seek donations of blank CDs from private businesses and manufacturers. Copy audio & make available to Disaster Survivors by any means that works such as Disaster Response Centers, Community Relations, libraries, schools & local government.
