Groups of Graduating Students

DOT has several student internship programs, which are aimed at providing current high school, college, and recent college graduates with meaningful developmental and work experiences in the transportation industry. These internships provide a pipeline for attracting talented and innovative students to explore endless opportunities. Internships provide an opportunity for students to gain technical knowledge and expertise.

Angela Nicole Young has been with the Department a little over a year. Beginning her journey March 2010, she had no idea of what to expect from the U.S. Department of Transportation.

Meet Anne-Bennett Cook
Anne-Bennett Cook is a SEEP student employed in the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) within the Office of the Secretary (OST). SEEP offers students a meaningful work experience in areas not necessarily related to the student's academic studies.

Raymond Young is currently enrolled in the SCEP program. He has been with the Department since September. Young currently works in the Operations, Research and Development office of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).
